Swimming pools in the Central Goldfields and Mount Alexander shires will be back with a splash from tomorrow, December 2.
In the Central Goldfields, the pools at Talbot and Dunolly will open for the summer season on days where temperatures reach 25° or above.
The pools will be open 3-7 pm on school days and 1-7 pm on weekends and school holidays.
Entry is free once again this year as the Maryborough outdoor pool remains closed for another season due to requiring extensive upgrades before it can reopen.
In Mount Alexander, pools at Newstead, Maldon, Harcourt and Castlemaine will be open until March 11
The pools will not open if the forecast temperature for the day is lower than 23º.
