The Freemason’s Eminent Companion Alan Gell was presented with his 50-year Jewel at Maryborough Masonic Centre recently by Most Eminent Companion Leonard Lacey 1st Grand Principal of Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Victoria.
A member of Birdwood Royal Arch Chapter, Alan holds membership of Maryborough and Talbot craft lodges.
Speaking in response to his award, Alan talked about good times and hard times over his life while finding that Freemasonry was a tremendous support to him through all these times while gaining much enjoyment from being in office most of the years in most of the degrees he is associated with.
