The Maryborough Theatre Company hosted a fundraising screening of The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie at the Maryborough Paramount Theatre on Friday as the group prepares for a musical of the popular animation.

A prize for Best Dressed was awarded to two winners who attended as SpongeBob and the winner of the raffle received two free tickets for the musical.
The junior production is slated to run from October 18 to 20.
