Royal Park was absolutely thumped on their home deck by Harcourt, run out of the contest almost as soon as the game got underway.

The Lions were uncaged on Saturday, leading with an outrageous seven-goal opening term, completely shadowing a single major from the home side.

Park mirrored their one shot on goal in the second, with another major score and fought hard to slow down Harcourt which managed just two goals in the second quarter.

A 16-to-60 score was a daunting lead in for Bushy for the second half, but unfortunately it just got worse from there with no score in the third and a single point in the fourth.

Harcourt cracked on, and although there were plenty of missed opportunities, blew out the score with a six-goal third term and five-goal fourth to win the game by 121 points.

In a best on ground performance, Cam Anderson kicked six goals for the Lions, with Darby Semmens, Tom Stefaniw, Kristian Bruce, Tom Walters and Mark Noonan joining him on the vote card.

Other big goal scorers were Sam Gale, Ben Leech and Lachlan Mitchell with four apiece, Walters with three and Brayden Frost and Bruce with two.

Brad Reeves, Luke Relow, Billy Dalton, Mark Ashmore, Lauchlan Woodward and Rhys Wagstaff were praised for Park with Murray Bond and Jarrod Burman the only goalscorers with one each.

Royal Park will need to pull off the game of its season to overcome Lexton this round, while Harcourt will look to maintain its percentage break over Navarre when they meet Campbells Creek.
