Central Goldfields Youth, Central Goldfields Art Gallery and the Maryborough Regional Library have put together a diverse program of hands-on and entertaining free and low-cost activities for young people of all ages this winter.

The program of events will run between June 26 and July 9 and are being led by community volunteers in partnership with organisations across Victoria, including Art Vo Immersive Trick Gallery, FReeZA and The Push.

Central Goldfields Shire mayor Grace La Vella encourages children and teenagers across the shire to sign up for one or more of the events organised.

“Our school holiday program will keep the whole family entertained this winter,” she said.

“There's so much to choose from: movie and gallery days, learn golf and photography, create music and art or sit back and be entertained by local performers.”
