A 16-goal haul from Will Holt propelled Natte Bealiba to the biggest win of the season, as the Swans took victory over Campbells Creek by 240 points.
The Swans dominated throughout the afternoon, and with Navarre losing to Carisbrook, they have now taken a one-game gap inside the top four, and can all-but seal the double chance over the split round.
The Swans kicked nine goals to one behind in the first term to establish a 57-point lead at the first change, but their second quarter would prove to be their most dominant of the afternoon, as they piled on 12 goals to no score to move 135 points clear at the main break.
To Campbells Creek’s credit, they fought hard in the third term, and were rewarded with a goal, while also keeping Natte Bealiba to seven goals, as the margin ballooned to 175 points at the final break.
The Swans finished full of running, with 11 final-quarter goals, compared to the solitary effort from Campbells Creek.
Holt’s 16 goals was a personal best, surpassing the 12 goals he kicked against the Magpies in round three last season, while it was the fourth time a Swans player had surpassed 10 goals in their last three meetings with Creek.
Alongside him, Tom Broadbent, Daniel Vadala, Trent Mortlock, Joshua Grant and Austin McKenzie played well, while for Campbells Creek, Lachlan Hyland, Max Stewart, Hadley Bassett, Tyson Logan, Anthony Hunt and Jack Carroll fought hard against the tide.
