Residents are being advised the public access computers at the Maryborough Regional Library are currently unavailable, with alternate means of accessing the internet and printing available.

In a statement, council’s general manager community wellbeing Emma Little said council staff were working to resolve the issue.

“[The issue] is due to a complex software issue related to maintaining the privacy of computer users,” she said.

“Council is working to resolve this issue so as to reinstate the public use computers as soon as possible.

“During this time community members can access the internet via the Libraries tablets, free Wi-Fi and wireless printing using either a library device or their own.”
