Maryborough’s ANZ Bank will temporarily close its doors later this month as it undergoes refurbishments.
The High Street branch will be closed to the public from 5 pm Friday, July 15 until it reopens at 9.30 am on Monday, July 22.
“ANZ’s Maryborough branch will be temporarily closed between while it undergoes a refresh,” an ANZ spokesperson said.
“We have personally written to customers to inform them of this temporary closure and how they can access alternative banking arrangements during this time.
“The onsite Smart ATM will remain operational during the closure. This enables our customers to access many of the same transactions they could in a branch, including making withdrawals and to deposit cheques and banknotes.
“Customers can also withdraw money using EFTPOS facilities at Maryborough’s major supermarkets.”
Customers who need in-person assistance during the closure will need to travel to Bendigo at 91 Mitchell Street, or Ballarat at either 1233 Howitt Street, or 401 Sturt Street.
The High Street ANZ ATM will be available for use as usual during the closure.
