A 62-year-old Maryborough massage therapist will appear in court next week over the alleged rape and sexual assault of two women.
Detectives from the Central Victoria Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team have charged the man as part of their investigation into alleged sexual assaults in Maryborough this year.
Police executed a search warrant at a business on Majorca Road on Wednesday this week where a 62-year-old man was arrested.
Police allege the man sexually assaulted two female victims during a massage at the premises between January and June 2022.
He has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The man has been released on bail and will appear at the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
