Natte Bealiba will charge into a qualifying match-up with the Maryborough Giants after disposing of Harcourt by 43 goals at Harcourt Recreation Reserve.
The Swans did it easy for the bulk of the day as they completely dominated play, and it was right from the start as they took a 19-goal to five lead at the first change. Emma Ryan scored 17 goals for the Swans, while Polly Douglas added two, and for Harcourt, Jess Chaplin scored three times and Tegan McKay twice.
Natte didn’t let up in the second term, scoring 16 goals to six to extend the lead to 24 goals at the main break, leading 35-11. Ryan added 13 goals and Douglas three for the Swans, while McKay scored five goals and Chaplin once for the Lions.
The Swans continued to suffocate the Lions’ ball movement through the midcourt in the third term, and scored another 16 goals to six to lead by 34 goals at the final change, 51-17. Ryan scored 14 goals and Douglas two for the Swans, while for the Lions, McKay scored four times and Chaplin twice.
It was a relentless Natte outfit who won each quarter, with a low-scoring affair seeing the Swans score 13 goals to four in the last to ease to a big win.
Ryan scored all 13 goals to finish with 57 and the leading goalshooter award with it, while for Harcourt, McKay scored all four goals to finish with 15 for the day.
