Navarre moved to within one game of the top four after shellacking Maryborough Rovers at Jubilee Oval.
The Grasshoppers were never in any danger of the down-trodden Magpies and used Saturday as a percentage booster in their quest to stay in top four contention.
Rovers were scoreless in the first term but got on the board through Andrew Siekai’s solitary goal in the second, however Navarre still led by 97 points by the main break.
The visitors stacked it on over the next two periods, scoring 20 goals to just one behind from Rovers as the margin shot out to 225 points.
The Hoppers had a shot on goal around every two minutes, with Cody Driscoll the biggest ball hog up forward with 12 goals to his name at the end of play.
Jay Moody was next with eight, Josh Fowkes got four, Tom Watts kicked three, Louis Hannett and Billy Parry got two apiece and Wil Clough, Bill Driscoll and Cooper Reading each got a single.
Best on for Navarre were Harry Bigmore, Driscoll, Fowkes, Riley Bibby, Lachlan Slorach and Angus Braham.
Rovers were thankful to have Kieran Johns, Reece Perry, Joel Radlof, Marshall Murray, Alex Mahony and Jorden Morse at their best in another tough result.
This loss has relegated the Magpies to last place on the ladder, now behind Campbells Creek due to percentage, while Navarre has moved up into fifth place with a 7-3 win-loss record ahead of round 11.
This round Rovers will play cross-town rival Royal Park at Princes Park while Navarre heads to Harcourt in a massive test.
