Small businesses in Maryborough are being invited to apply for technology grants and a business mentoring opportunity through the Optus Business Plus Tech Grant.
Run by Optus, the grant is aimed at supporting the adoption of new technology into small businesses and help them evolve and address the challenges in the current economic climate.
The grant is part of a national initiative that will see $30,000 in tech grants available to small businesses in Maryborough, and allow them to apply for one of two one-on-one business mentorship opportunities.
“Optus recognises that the current economic landscape is challenging for many Aussie small businesses and we see tech grants and mentorship opportunities as a way to not only support them today, but future proof them by providing technology solutions and knowledge to continue to evolve their business in the way they want,” VP Optus Business, Enterprise and Business at Sean Casey said.
“Optus Business Plus was built with customer feedback front and centre and is designed to support business owners in Maryborough by integrating flexible and modular business technology solutions designed specifically for small businesses.”
