Community groups looking for funding will have an opportunity next week to pitch their ideas to an expert panel for feedback to strengthen their submissions.
The Pitch Night is the culmination of a series of grant writing workshops that have been held in the Central Goldfields Shire over recent weeks.
Facilitated by Cr Anna De Villiers, these sessions have assisted organisations in preparing grant submissions with the aim of enhancing applications so that they have a greater chance of success.
The upcoming Pitch Night will have a supportive and friendly atmosphere and will see organisations or individuals presenting their ideas for fundraising to a panel consisting of:
Julie Driscoll — Community Bank Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud.
Jeannie Clark — Maryborough Community House.
Alistair Shaw — Volunteering Loddon Mallee Project Bendigo.
Panel members will then provide feedback, tips and suggestions to bolster the submission.
Any community group is welcome to pitch their ideas and it doesn’t matter if you did not attend the grant writing sessions.
Pitch Night will be held at 6.30 pm on Monday, June 17 at the Community Hub.
If you would like to attend or need further information, contact Tony Macer on 0400 029 068.
