The wet weather across Victoria continues to play havoc on summer sporting competitions, with cricket washed out for the second week in succession along with the first round of Saturday pennant bowls.
A decision was reached at 10.30 am yesterday morning in regards to games between Clunes and Maryborough, as well as Beaufort and Laanecoorie Dunolly, which now leaves just three rounds for the T20 competition to be played at this stage.
The scheduled games next week are Clunes and Colts Phelans, and Maryborough and Beaufort, while Laanecoorie Dunolly will be left to start their season in round four as they have the bye.
The first round of the Goldfields Saturday pennant bowls has also been called off due to the weather.
Division one would have seen games between Highland Tartan and Golf Blue, Avoca Red vs Dunolly Gold, Talbot Gold vs Highland Red and Dunolly Blue vs Newstead Blue.
