After a tightly contested first half, Natte Bealiba would come through with another strong win, this time easing to a 20-goal victory over Navarre.

The Swans took their time to overpower a plucky Hoppers outfit, but were able to eventually run away with their game and keep their hopes of top spot alive.

Natte Bealiba opened up with an 11-goal to nine opening exchange to ensure they would lead by two goals at the opening break, but would start to slowly increase their gap from there on in. A 14-goal to seven second quarter saw the margin creep up to nine goals, but the Hoppers were still very much in the game.

Natte needed a strong third quarter and they were able to provide it, scoring 13 goals to nine to extend the margin to 13 by the final break.

Their last quarter was the strongest of the afternoon, proving their staying power as they scored 16 goals to nine to eventually run out 20-goal winners.

The best players were not provided by either team prior to print deadline.

Melissa Oliver returned to the team and showed she had lost none of her scoring touch, putting up 41 goals for the afternoon.

Bek Seeary-Pye led the way for the Hoppers, scoring 28 goals.
