NATTE BEALIBA (67) def HARCOURT (37)

Natte continued their unbeaten start to the season with a commanding 30-goal win over Harcourt.

It was a dominant first half which saw Natte assume control, scoring 18 goals to eight in the first quarter to open up a comfortable lead, before almost doubling it thanks to a 15-goal to six second quarter.

Harcourt did their utmost to fight back, and were able to have a very productive third quarter by scoring 16 goals. But at the same time, Natte were answering every challenge the Lions had, scoring 17 goals of their own to take a 20-goal lead at the final change.

That seemed to deflate the Lions, who could only score seven goals in the final quarter compared to the Swans’ 17, with the Swans eventually winning 67-37.

Emma Ryan continued her dominant season under the goal circle, scoring 59 goals, while for Harcourt, the load was shared between Kate Blake and Tayla Gale, with Blake scoring 23 and Gale scoring 14.
