Yesterday, September 5, another structure fire was reported at around 10 am on Bridport Street.
According to local CFA, seven local CFA units were able to control the blaze an hour after attending the scene.

Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
In the wake of the two blazes, Avoca Fire Brigade Captain Aaron McHoul said residents must check they have installed working smoke alarms.
“Smoke alarms are a must, make sure that you update your smoke detectors and make sure the battery has been changed,” he said.
